What it is

The Sime 6273605 is a water pressure transducer used on Sime Murelle and Economy HE boiler ranges. It monitors the pressure of the water in the heating circuit and sends a corresponding signal to the boiler's control board. The connection to the boiler is push-fit.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The boiler locks out on a low water pressure fault even though the system is correctly filled
  • The pressure reading on the boiler display is erratic or does not change when the system is topped up
  • The boiler fails to fire despite adequate pressure at the filling loop
  • Repeated low pressure faults that return shortly after resetting
