What it is
The Sime 6247328 is a blue clock blanking disc used on Sime Dewy HE and Planet Dewy boiler models. It covers the aperture left in the control panel when a mechanical clock or timer is not fitted. The disc closes off the opening so the panel stays sealed and the internal controls remain protected.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Blanking disc missing from the control panel aperture
- Disc cracked, split or brittle with age
- Disc loose in its seating and no longer held in place
- Open aperture exposing the control panel interior to dust and debris
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model against the fit list above
- Check the existing disc's colour and seating type match
- Verify part number 6247328 against the manufacturer's parts list for your appliance
