What it is

The Sime 6242602 is an air/smoke manifold screw for Sime gas boilers. It secures the air/smoke manifold, the assembly that carries combustion air into the boiler and flue gases out. The screw is listed for use across a number of Sime Format, Open Zip, Murelle and Climit models.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Corrosion or rust on the screw head or threads
  • The screw is loose, missing or will not tighten
  • Signs of flue gas or condensate leakage around the manifold joint
