What it is
The Sime 6233503 is a T100mA fuse supplied for the main printed circuit board. It protects the PCB and its connected circuits in Sime gas boilers, interrupting the supply if the current drawn exceeds the fuse rating.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler is completely dead, with no display, LEDs or response to a demand for heat or hot water
- Fuse element is visibly ruptured, blackened or discoloured
- Fuse blows again immediately after being replaced
- No supply reaching the main PCB even though power is present at the boiler
