What it is

The Sime 6226636 is a fixing spring for the domestic hot water (DHW) elektrovalve used across the Sime Murelle, Edea and Brava Slim HE boiler families. It holds the DHW valve assembly in position so the valve can open and close correctly on a hot water demand.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The DHW valve assembly is loose or does not sit correctly in its housing
  • Hot water delivery is intermittent, or the valve fails to open on demand
  • The valve does not close fully, allowing water to pass when there is no demand
  • The spring is visibly broken, distorted or missing during a service inspection

Before you order

  • Confirm your boiler model and GC number against the fitment list above
  • Check the part number 6226636 matches the spring currently fitted
  • Inspect the DHW elektrovalve to confirm the spring is the failed component and not the valve body or diaphragm
