What it is
The Sime 6225715 is an air pressure switch supplied under the Superior MKII designation. It is a gas boiler spare that monitors air pressure within the combustion air circuit and signals the boiler control when the required pressure condition is met. It is manufactured by Sime for use in their gas boiler range.
Before you order
- Confirm the part number 6225715 and the Superior MKII designation against your boiler's data plate or installation manual.
- Check the part number on the existing switch before removal, as more than one pressure switch may be used across the Sime range.
- Have the boiler model and serial number to hand when checking compatibility against Sime literature.
- Inspect the associated sensing tubes and connections as part of the same job, since blockages or leaks can affect switch operation.
