What it is
The Sime 6221623 Ionisation Electrode is a flame-sensing electrode for Sime appliances. It carries a small ionisation current back to the control board while a flame is present, allowing the board to prove combustion and hold the burner in operation. If the signal is lost, the board closes the gas valve.
