What it is
Rubber gasket, 130 mm nominal diameter, manufactured by Sime. It seals the D.H.W. cylinder flange to the cylinder on Sime gas boilers. Part number 6193000.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or dripping from the cylinder flange joint
- Visible cracking, perishing or hardening of the rubber gasket
- Flattened or deformed gasket that no longer seals under pressure
- Scale or corrosion deposits around the flange joint
- Repeated loss of system pressure
