What it is

The Sime 6157660 is a drain pipe for the pressure relief valve on Sime gas appliances. It carries discharge water away from the pressure relief valve outlet to a safe point of disposal. It is listed for use across the Sime Edea range and the Murelle ONE HE 25.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Water escaping at the pipe joint rather than discharging cleanly from the outlet
  • Visible corrosion, scale or cracking along the pipe run
  • Damp staining or dripping traced to the pressure relief valve discharge pipe
  • A blocked, kinked or restricted discharge pipe holding water back
  • The pipe no longer seating correctly on the valve outlet

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model and part number against the data plate and the manufacturer's parts list
  • Check the condition of the pressure relief valve outlet and the pipe connection point
  • Verify the discharge route is clear and terminates at a suitable point of disposal
