What it is

This is a foam sealing strip manufactured by Ariston, supplied in a 10mm x 2mm profile with an 800mm length. It is used as a sealing component on Ariston Combi A MFFI series gas boilers, where it closes the gap between mating casing or component surfaces. The strip is cut to length on site as required by the application.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible compression, flattening or crumbling of the foam strip
  • The seal has hardened, cracked or detached from its mounting surface
  • Traces of combustion residue or staining along the joint the seal covers
  • The strip no longer fills the gap it was fitted to close
  • The seal was disturbed or damaged during servicing and will not reseat

  • Check the existing seal profile and length against the 10mm x 2mm x 800mm dimensions
