What it is

The Ariston 61400236 is a foam seal with a 20mm x 15mm profile, supplied in a 1.7m length. It is fitted to Ariston Combi A series gas boilers to seal between mating components. This part supersedes part number 54263.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The foam has hardened, cracked or started to crumble
  • The seal is flattened or compressed where it seats and no longer fills the joint
  • Tears, gaps or missing sections allow air, flue gas or water past the seal
  • Draughts, condensation or staining appear around the sealed joint
  • The seal no longer stays in position during reassembly
