What it is
The case fixing bracket, part number 6140015, is a Sime component used to secure the outer casing on the manufacturer's gas boilers. It is listed for the Brava DGT and Ecomfort PLUS HE-EV appliance families. The bracket holds the case panels in position so the boiler casing sits correctly and does not vibrate or work loose.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler casing panels are loose or no longer sit flush
- The bracket is cracked, bent or corroded
- The case rattles or vibrates when the boiler runs
- A casing screw will not tighten because the fixing point has failed
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler model and product number against the fitment list above
- Check the existing bracket fixings and surrounding case panel for damage
- Verify the bracket mounting position on the appliance before fitting
