What it is
The Sime Pump Kit is a circulation pump assembly supplied for use in Sime gas boilers. It moves primary water around the heating circuit and through the domestic hot water heat exchanger where applicable. This kit supersedes part numbers 6272300, 6272301, 6272303 and 6281893.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler runs but radiators stay cold or heat unevenly, pointing to poor circulation
- Grinding, humming or rattling noise from the pump body during operation
- The pump runs hot or cuts out intermittently, with the boiler locking out on a flow or circulation fault
- Water weeping from the pump housing, seal area or pump head
- No pump movement at all when the boiler is calling for heat
