What it is

A PVC tube measuring 19 mm in diameter and 500 mm in length, supplied by Ariston for use in Combi A series gas boilers. It forms part of the boiler's internal pipework, carrying water or condensate depending on where it is fitted in the appliance. The tube is a serviceable component and is replaced as a complete length.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible cracks, splits or crazing along the tube wall
  • Discolouration or hardening of the PVC, indicating heat or age-related degradation
  • Weeping or dripping at the tube ends or along its length
  • Water or condensate pooling inside the boiler casing beneath the tube route
  • The tube has become brittle and no longer seals correctly at its connections

Before you order

  • Confirm your boiler model against the fitment list above, noting the April 2006 build date split
  • Check the existing tube's diameter and length match 19 mm and 500 mm before removal
  • Compare the part number on the existing component with 61311628
  • Inspect the connections and clips at both ends, as these may also need attention
