What it is
The electrical box plate is a Chaffoteaux component used on Minima Mx2 FF appliances. It forms the mounting plate for the electrical control box, holding the wiring and control components in position within the boiler casing. This version applies to appliances manufactured up to August 2004.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible cracking, distortion or heat damage to the plate
- Scorching or discolouration around the electrical box mounting points
- The control box no longer sits securely or the plate fixings will not tighten
- Wiring or connectors have worked loose because the plate has moved
- Intermittent electrical faults traced to a disturbed or poorly seated control box
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance is a Minima Mx2 24 FF or 30 FF model
- Check the date of manufacture is on or before August 2004, as later builds use a different arrangement
- Match the part number 61311053 against the marking on the existing plate
- Identify whether the boiler is LPG or natural gas so the correct variant is selected
