What it is
The outgoing flue box is a Chaffoteaux flue component used on Calydra Green and Centora Green gas boilers. It forms part of the flue assembly, directing combustion products away from the appliance to the terminal. It is a serviceable part and is replaced when the existing flue box is damaged, corroded or no longer sealing correctly.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible corrosion, rust or cracking on the flue box body
- Condensate or water staining around the flue box or its joints
- Deteriorated or perished seals allowing leakage at the flue connection
- Boiler lockout or flue fault codes traced to the flue assembly
- Physical damage to the flue box following impact or servicing
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model and GC number against the fitment list above
- Check the existing flue box part number where visible on the component
- Verify the flue configuration and terminal type on the installation before ordering
- Confirm whether any seals or gaskets are required separately for the installation
