What it is

The Chaffoteaux 61301998 is a flexible pipe supplied as a pipe assembly for Chaffoteaux gas boilers. It forms part of the internal pipework on the appliance, allowing a connection to be made where a rigid pipe run is not practical. It is listed for use across the Britony Combi SE, Elexia Comfort and MC 2 ranges.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible cracking, splitting or perishing of the pipe wall
  • Weeping or damp staining along the pipe or at its connections
  • A persistent smell of gas around the pipe joint
  • Kinking or deformation that restricts flow through the pipe
  • Corrosion or mechanical damage at the end fittings

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model and, where shown, the build date against the fit list
  • Check the existing pipe for damage and confirm the part number on the component or parts list
  • Verify the pipe length and end connections match the failed part before removal
  • Isolate the gas and electrical supply and follow the manufacturer's instructions for the appliance
