What it is
The Chaffoteaux 61018567 is a gas conversion kit that allows a compatible appliance to be changed over from LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) to natural gas operation. It is intended for use on the Chaffoteaux Elexia Comfort 24 FF boiler family. Fitting the kit alters the appliance's gas configuration so it can run correctly on the fuel supply present at the property.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler is set up for LPG but the property is supplied with natural gas
- A conversion is required after a change in the gas supply to the property
- The appliance cannot be commissioned or set to the correct gas type for the installation
- Existing gas settings no longer match the fuel being supplied
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler model matches one of the appliances listed above
- Check which gas type the property is supplied with and which type the boiler is currently set for
- Verify the existing gas configuration before ordering, as the kit is directional (LPG to natural gas)
- Conversion work must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer
