What it is

The Chaffoteaux 61013546 is a non-return valve with an integrated filter, fitted to Chaffoteaux Duo cylinders. The valve prevents water from flowing back through the cylinder pipework, while the filter element traps debris carried in the supply. It is a cylinder component rather than a boiler part.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Water flowing back through the pipework when it should be held by the valve
  • Reduced flow or pressure at hot water outlets, suggesting a blocked filter
  • Debris, scale or sediment visible in the valve body or filter
  • Leaks or weeping from the valve body or its connections
  • Continued flow from an outlet after the supply has been shut off

Before you order

  • Confirm the cylinder model and capacity against the fitment list above
  • Check the part number on the existing valve matches 61013546
  • Identify whether the cylinder is a standard Duo or a MIXT MONO CER variant
  • Inspect the surrounding pipework and connections for damage before fitting
