What it is
The Chaffoteaux 61012952 is a flexible pipe supplied as a gas boiler spare for the Calydra range. It forms part of the boiler's internal pipe assembly, connecting fixed pipework where a rigid run is not practical. It is listed by Chaffoteaux under pipe assemblies for Calydra appliances.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible weeping or staining at the pipe ends or crimped connections
- Corrosion, pitting or surface cracking along the flexible section
- Kinking, flattening or deformation of the pipe wall
- A persistent gas smell or a drop in operating pressure traced to the pipe run
- Joints that will not seal after re-making, indicating a damaged end fitting
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model and build date against the fit list above, as Calydra variants differ by date and gas type
- Check the part number marked on the existing pipe matches 61012952
- Identify whether your boiler is natural gas or LPG, as both are listed
- Cross-check against the manufacturer's parts list for your specific model before ordering
