Chaffoteaux Heating Return Tube 61011394

The heating return tube is a Chaffoteaux pipe component for the Moduloflame range of gas boilers. It forms part of the heating circuit pipework, carrying returning system water back into the appliance. It is supplied as a single pipe assembly for use during servicing or repair of the boiler's hydraulic connections.

• Visible corrosion, pitting or scaling on the tube surface
• Weeping or dripping from the pipe or its joints when the system is under pressure
• Persistent pressure loss on the heating circuit with no other obvious cause
• Distortion or cracking of the tube, often following frost damage or overheating
• Staining or residue around the return connection indicating a long-standing leak

• Confirm the boiler model and modulation variant against the fitment list above
• Check the existing tube for the part number marking where accessible
• Inspect the associated seals, washers and connections, as these may also need renewing
• Isolate the appliance and drain down before removing the old tube
