What it is
A Chaffoteaux sheet screw measuring 3.5mm x 6.5mm, supplied under part number 61010126. It is a fixing component used on the appliance families listed below, securing panels and internal assemblies where a self-tapping sheet screw is specified. It sits within the screws, nuts, bolts and clips category of Chaffoteaux gas boiler spares.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The screw head is stripped or rounded, so it can no longer be driven or removed cleanly
- Corrosion or surface rust on the screw body, common where it has been exposed to condensate or moisture
- The screw no longer grips and spins in the fixing point instead of tightening
- A fixing is missing after a service or panel removal, leaving a cover or bracket insecure
- Thread damage or deformation preventing the screw from seating flush
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model against the fit list above before ordering
- Check the existing screw dimensions and thread form match 3.5mm x 6.5mm
- Establish how many fixings are required, as this listing covers a single screw
- Inspect the fixing point for damaged threads, which may need attention alongside the screw
