Chaffoteaux Overheat Stat 110°C & Cable 61004130

The Chaffoteaux 61004130 is an overheat thermostat rated at 110°C, supplied with its connecting cable. It is a safety limit device fitted to Chaffoteaux Celtic PLUS and Sterling FF and PP gas boilers, cutting the burner when the appliance exceeds its safe operating temperature. The thermostat supersedes the earlier code 100413000.

• The boiler locks out or shuts down once it reaches temperature, with the overheat trip operating repeatedly.
• The appliance fails to reset after an overheat shutdown, even once it has cooled.
• The thermostat or its cable shows heat damage, brittle insulation or a broken conductor.
• The boiler fires and then cuts out shortly afterwards without a fault code pointing elsewhere.
• Continuity across the thermostat is open when cold, or the switch does not open at the rated temperature.

• Confirm the appliance model and, where available, the GC number against the fitment list above.
• Check the rating marked on the existing thermostat matches 110°C.
• Inspect the cable run and connector type on the boiler before fitting.
