What it is

The Chaffoteaux 61003897 is a gas conversion kit that allows a compatible appliance to be converted from natural gas to LPG operation. It is intended for use on the Britony II T 21 HP appliance family. The kit provides the components required to adapt the appliance's gas circuit to the alternative gas supply.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The appliance is being changed from natural gas to an LPG supply and requires conversion.
  • The burner is not operating correctly after a change of gas supply.
  • Combustion readings are outside the expected range for the gas being used.
  • The existing conversion components are missing, damaged or incomplete.

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model and the date range it falls within against the fit list.
  • Confirm the gas supply the appliance is currently connected to and the gas it will be converted to.
  • Check the appliance data plate for the model and gas category details.
  • Conversion must be carried out by a competent heating engineer in line with the manufacturer's instructions.
