What it is
The Chaffoteaux 61002775-12 is a red flow regulator, also listed as a restrictor washer, rated at 12 litres per minute. It is fitted in Chaffoteaux gas boilers to control the domestic hot water flow rate through the appliance. The part supersedes the earlier code 100277512.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Domestic hot water flow rate at the tap is higher or lower than the appliance's rated figure
- Unstable or fluctuating DHW temperature during draw-off
- Scale or debris restricting flow through the washer
- Visible damage, distortion or a missing restrictor washer
- Flow rate no longer matching the marked 12 litre/min rating
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model and GC number against the fitment list above
- Check the existing restrictor's colour and flow rating - red denotes 12 litre/min
- Check whether the boiler has previously been converted or the restrictor removed
- Verify part number 61002775-12 against the existing component or the manufacturer's parts list
