What it is

The Chaffoteaux hot water knob is a control knob for the hot water setting on Chaffoteaux Celt Star B series gas boilers. It is listed under manufacturer part number 61001498 and carries the superseded code reference 100149800. The knob mounts on the boiler control panel and is turned to adjust the hot water setting.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The knob is cracked, split or has broken away from the spindle
  • The knob turns loosely without changing the hot water setting
  • The knob is missing from the control panel
  • The knob is stiff or difficult to turn by hand
  • The markings on the knob are worn and the setting can no longer be read

Before you order
