What it is

The Sime 6066104 is a pilot burner nozzle with a 0.20 bore, intended for LPG-fuelled appliances. It meters the gas supply to the pilot burner, which in turn provides the flame that proves ignition and holds the burner in operation. It is used across a number of Sime Murelle and Super models.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The pilot flame will not stay lit and the appliance locks out shortly after ignition.
  • The pilot flame is weak, unstable or noticeably smaller than it should be.
  • Sooting or discolouration around the pilot assembly, indicating poor gas metering.
  • The pilot is difficult to light, or the flame lifts away from the burner.
  • The nozzle bore is visibly blocked, corroded or worn when inspected.
