What it is

The Sime 6017403 is a flexible filling loop pipe with male-to-female 3/8 inch connections and a length of 300 mm. It is used in Sime Planet Super and Super MKII gas boilers to connect the water supply for filling and pressurising the heating system.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible cracks, kinks, or corrosion on the flexible hose or fittings.
  • Water leaking from the pipe connections.
  • Loss of boiler system pressure requiring frequent topping up.
  • The pipe feels stiff or brittle.

Before you order

  • Confirm your boiler model is listed in the Fits section.
  • Check the existing pipe's connection type and length match the 3/8 inch and 300 mm specification.
  • Verify the part number 6017403 matches your requirement.
  • Inspect the filling loop for any additional seals or washers that may need replacing.
