What it is

The Sime 6009533 is a fixing bracket for the casing front panel on compatible Sime gas boilers. It secures the front casing panel to the appliance body, keeping the panel correctly located and held in position. The bracket is a manufacturer-supplied casing component for the Format and Planet Super ranges listed below.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The front casing panel no longer sits flush or square against the boiler body.
  • The panel is loose, rattles, or can be moved without releasing the retaining fixings.
  • The bracket is bent, cracked, or has snapped at a mounting point.
  • Fixing screws will not tighten or hold, indicating a stripped or damaged bracket.
  • Visible corrosion or deformation where the bracket meets the casing panel.

Before you order

  • Confirm the boiler model and part number against the appliance data plate.
  • Check the existing bracket for damage and note which fixing points are affected.
  • Verify that the casing panel itself is undamaged, as a distorted panel can also prevent correct seating.
  • Check the manufacturer's parts list for your specific model to confirm this bracket is the correct item.
