What it is
The Chaffoteaux 60081953 is an actuator motor for the three-way diverter valve used on a range of Chaffoteaux gas boilers. It drives the valve spindle to switch the appliance between central heating and domestic hot water demand. The motor mounts to the diverter valve body and is supplied as the actuator only.
Signs this part needs replacing
- No domestic hot water while the boiler still fires for heating
- Radiators heating up when a hot water tap is run
- Actuator head buzzing, whining or failing to move through its stroke
- Valve stuck in one position, giving heating or hot water only
- Intermittent switching between heating and hot water modes
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model and GC number against the fit list above
- Check the part number on the existing actuator head
- Confirm the fault lies with the motor rather than the valve body or spindle
- Isolate the electrical supply to the boiler before removing the actuator

Fitment listings are a guide, not a guarantee. Plant-room assemblies get modified on site more often than not. Send us the GC number off the data badge and a photo of the existing valve and we will confirm before anything is dispatched.
