What it is
The Chaffoteaux 60081667 Burner Base Kit is a burner assembly component for Chaffoteaux gas boilers. It forms the mounting and support base for the burner within the combustion chamber. It is used across the Britony Combi, Britony System and BAXI Genesis appliance families.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Unstable or lifting flame at the burner during operation
- Repeated ignition failure or rough, noisy light-up
- Visible corrosion, distortion or cracking on the burner base
- Soot deposits or discolouration around the burner area
- Combustion readings outside the expected range on a flue gas analysis
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler model and, where available, the GC number against the fit list
- Check the appliance build date against the date ranges shown for the Britony Combi models
- Confirm whether the boiler is natural gas or LPG, as the fit list covers both
- Inspect the existing burner assembly before ordering to confirm the base is the failed component
