What it is

A gaskets kit for the scale reducer assembly, supplied by Chaffoteaux under part number 60081452. It provides the sealing gaskets required at the scale reducer connections on Britony Flexiflue CE appliances. The gaskets form the watertight joint between the scale reducer and the surrounding pipework or housing.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Water weeping or dripping from the scale reducer joints
  • Staining, corrosion or scale deposits around the scale reducer connections
  • Gaskets that have hardened, flattened or cracked on inspection
  • Leaks reappearing after the scale reducer has been removed and refitted
  • Dampness at the joint during a service or pressure check

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model and GC number against the fit list above
  • Check the existing part number on the scale reducer assembly where visible
  • Inspect the joint to confirm the leak is at the gasket rather than the scale reducer body
  • Confirm how many gasket positions the scale reducer on your appliance uses
