What it is
A PVC tube supplied by Chaffoteaux as part number 60081266-02, measuring 13 mm x 17 mm with a length of 1 metre. It is listed in the pipe assembly category for Chaffoteaux gas boilers and is used to carry or route water within the appliance. The tube is cut to length on site as required by the installation.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible cracking, splitting or crazing along the tube wall
- The tube has hardened or become brittle with age and no longer seals at its connections
- Discolouration or staining that indicates heat exposure or contamination
- Weeping or dripping at the tube ends or where it joins the fitting
- Kinking or deformation that restricts flow through the tube
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model against the manufacturer's parts list before ordering
- Check the existing tube dimensions and that 13 mm x 17 mm matches the fitting it connects to
- Measure the run required and confirm 1 metre is sufficient, allowing for any trimming
- Inspect the associated fittings and clips for damage that may also need attention
