What it is
The Chaffoteaux 60081197 gas rate adjuster kit is a service component for Chaffoteaux natural gas boilers. It is used when setting and adjusting the gas rate at the appliance. The kit is supplied for natural gas (NAT GAS) applications.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The gas rate cannot be set or held at the correct figure during commissioning or servicing.
- The adjuster is seized, rounded or damaged and will not turn.
- The gas rate drifts after adjustment, giving unstable burner performance.
- Components within the adjuster assembly are worn, corroded or visibly damaged.
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model and, where shown on the data badge, the GC number.
- Check the boiler is on natural gas, as this kit is for NAT GAS appliances only.
- Check the appliance build date against the model listings above where a date range applies.
- Inspect the existing adjuster to confirm the fault lies with the adjuster rather than another gas valve component.
