What it is
The Chaffoteaux 60081054 Air Pressure Switch Kit is a pressure switch assembly used on Chaffoteaux gas boilers, including the Britony, Celtic and Challenger FF ranges. It monitors air pressure at the fan or flue path and signals the boiler's control circuit so the appliance only fires when airflow is proven. This kit supersedes the earlier code 8105400.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler locks out or fails to fire, with the fan running but no ignition sequence
- Repeated lockout on start-up that clears only after a reset
- Fault code or diagnostic indication pointing to an air pressure or flue fault
- Intermittent firing when the boiler is cold or during windy conditions
- No continuity or no switching at the pressure switch when airflow is present
