What it is
The Chaffoteaux 60078577 is a potentiometer used in the thermostat circuit of Chaffoteaux gas boilers. It provides the variable resistance that sets the boiler temperature on the Sterling FF/OF and Moduloflame 140 appliance families. This part supersedes the earlier code 7857700.

- Boiler temperature is erratic or cycles without input from the control
- The control has no effect at any point in its travel
