What it is
The Chaffoteaux 60077783 is a combustion chamber supplied as a gas boiler spare. It forms the enclosed space in which the burner flame is contained on Britony and Britony Flexiflue appliances. It is listed under burner components in the Chaffoteaux spares range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible corrosion, scaling or perforation on the chamber walls or base
- Cracks, distortion or burn-through around the burner aperture
- Damaged or degraded sealing faces causing flue gas leakage
- Soot or heat discolouration indicating flame impingement on the chamber
- Chamber removed during a burner or heat exchanger repair and found unfit for refitting
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model and, where applicable, the serial or date range against the fitment list
- Check the existing chamber's part number or markings before ordering
- Verify the fuel type of the appliance, as NAT GAS and LPG variants are listed separately
- Inspect the burner and seals at the same time, as these are disturbed during chamber replacement
