What it is

The water section assembly, part number 60075709, is a Chaffoteaux component used on Moduloflame 280 and 420 gas boilers. It forms the switch-flow section of the appliance, handling the changeover between domestic hot water and heating operation. This part supersedes the earlier code 7570900.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The boiler fails to switch between heating and hot water modes
  • Domestic hot water runs cold while the heating continues to work
  • Heating stops producing heat while hot water demand is present
  • Water weeping or dripping from the water section assembly
  • Reduced or inconsistent hot water flow at the taps

Before you order

  • Confirm your appliance is a Chaffoteaux Moduloflame 280 or 420
  • Check the model and gas type against the fitment list, including the NAT GAS MOD 31 - MAR 1996 variants
  • Verify the existing part number or superseded code 7570900 before ordering
  • Inspect the surrounding pipework and connections for damage that may also need attention
