What it is
A flat sealing washer manufactured by Chaffoteaux, measuring 12mm outer diameter, 5.2mm inner diameter and 1mm thick. It is listed under gas boiler spares as part number 60061934-03 and is used to seal a joint or connection within the appliance water or gas circuit. It is fitted across a number of older Chaffoteaux boiler families.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible weeping or dripping at the joint the washer seals
- Water staining, scale or corrosion around the connection
- Washer hardened, cracked or brittle with age
- Washer flattened or deformed so it no longer seals under compression
- Leak returns after the joint is re-tightened
Before you order
- Confirm the existing washer measures 12mm outer, 5.2mm inner and 1mm thick
- Check your appliance model and age against the fit list above
- Establish how many washers the joint or assembly requires before ordering
- Inspect the mating faces for damage, as a scored face will not seal with a new washer alone
