What it is
This is a sheet gasket manufactured by Chaffoteaux, measuring 29.6mm outer diameter, 22mm inner diameter and 1.5mm thick. It is a sealing component used within the gas and water circuits of Chaffoteaux Corvec, Flexiflame and Moduloflame 140 appliances, where it compresses between mating faces to prevent leakage at the joint.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible weeping or staining around the joint the gasket seals
- Gasket material hardened, brittle or flattened, losing its compression
- Cracks, splits or crumbling at the inner or outer edge
- Discolouration or scorching indicating heat exposure
- Gasket sticking to the mating face or breaking up on disassembly
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model against the fit list above
- Check the existing gasket dimensions — 29.6mm outer, 22mm inner, 1.5mm thick — against the part being replaced
- Check how many gaskets the joint requires before ordering
- Inspect the mating faces for pitting or corrosion, as a damaged face will not seal even with a new gasket
