What it is
The Chaffoteaux 60061722 is a 240V 1A fuse used in Flexiflame series gas boilers. It sits in the boiler's electrical circuit and interrupts the supply if the current exceeds its rated value. It is listed for Flexiflame 140, 280 and 420 models.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler is completely dead, with no lights, display or fan response
- Nothing happens when the boiler is switched on at the controls or programmer
- The fuse is visibly blown, blackened or has a broken element
- A replacement fuse blows again straight away, pointing to a fault elsewhere in the circuit
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance is one of the Flexiflame models listed above
- Check the rating marked on the existing fuse matches 240V 1A
- Isolate the electrical supply before removing or fitting the fuse
- If the fuse has blown, trace the cause before fitting a replacement
