Chaffoteaux Thermocouple 60057703

The Chaffoteaux 60057703 is a thermocouple used in the pilot flame circuit of Britony gas appliances. Sitting in the pilot assembly, it generates a small voltage while the pilot flame is lit, and that signal holds the gas valve open so the burner can run. If the pilot flame is lost, the thermocouple output falls away and the valve closes, shutting off the gas supply.
