Ariston Expansion Vessel 60056676-06

The 60056676-06 is an expansion vessel supplied by Ariston for use in gas boilers. It absorbs the volume increase of the sealed heating circuit as the water heats and expands, limiting pressure rise and protecting the system from over-pressurisation. It is listed for a range of Ariston and Chaffoteaux boiler models.

• System pressure rises sharply as the boiler heats and falls again once it cools.
• The pressure relief valve discharges water, or the discharge pipe is wet or dripping.
• The boiler locks out or shows a low pressure fault shortly after filling.
• The vessel feels heavy or full of water when tapped, indicating a failed internal diaphragm.
• Pressure at the gauge fluctuates widely during normal operation.

• Confirm your boiler model against the fitment list above before ordering.
• Check the part number on the existing vessel matches 60056676-06.
• Verify the connection size, thread and charge pressure against the manufacturer's data for your appliance.
• Check whether the vessel is accessible for removal, as some installations require the boiler to be drained and the appliance moved forward.
