What it is
The Chaffoteaux 60053937 is a pilot tube — the small-bore tube that carries gas to the pilot burner on a gas boiler pilot assembly. It is listed within the Chaffoteaux pilot burner range for gas boiler applications. The pilot tube feeds the pilot flame that ignites the main burner on demand.
Before you order
- Confirm the part number on the existing pilot tube or in the appliance documentation matches 60053937.
- Check the pilot burner assembly it serves, as pilot tubes are specific to the pilot arrangement fitted.
- Inspect the pilot burner and injector while access is available, and replace any other worn pilot components at the same time.
- Gas-carrying components must be fitted and commissioned by a competent, registered gas engineer.
