What it is
The cold water inlet tube is a Chaffoteaux component that carries mains cold water into the boiler. It is used across the Britony II range of gas appliances. The tube feeds the cold water circuit, so correct fitment is essential to maintain flow and prevent leaks inside the casing.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or dripping from the tube or its connections
- Visible corrosion, pitting or scale build-up on the tube
- Reduced or interrupted cold water flow into the boiler
- Damp staining or water marks inside the appliance casing
- Boiler failing to fill or hold pressure correctly
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model against the fit list above
- Check the existing tube and its connections for the source of the leak
- Verify the part number on the component being replaced
