What it is
The Chaffoteaux 60044799-10 is a fuse holder used on a range of Chaffoteaux gas boilers, including the Celtic, Sterling, Flexiflame and Corvec families. It carries the appliance fuse and secures it within the boiler's electrical circuit. The holder is a serviceable electrical component and is replaced when the fuse seating or contacts are damaged.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler fails to power up and the fuse will not seat securely in the holder
- The fuse blows repeatedly after replacement
- Visible scorching, melting or discolouration around the holder body
- Loose, corroded or sprung contacts that no longer grip the fuse
- Intermittent electrical faults traced to the fuse connection
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model against the fitment list above, including any date range shown
- Check the fuse rating required by your appliance before fitting
- Inspect the existing holder and surrounding wiring for heat damage before replacing
- Verify the part number 60044799-10 matches the component removed
