What it is

The Ariston 60042707 is a double grommet used on Genus B PLUS 30 gas boilers. It seals the point where pipework or cabling passes through the appliance casing, closing the opening against water, dirt and draughts. It is classed as an O-ring, washer and gasket component within the boiler's spare parts range.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The grommet is split, cracked or perished and no longer seals the casing opening
  • Water tracking or staining around the pipe or cable entry point
  • The grommet has hardened and lost its grip on the pipe or cable
  • The grommet is missing, loose or has pulled out of the casing panel
  • Visible gaps at the entry point allowing draughts, dirt or moisture into the appliance

Before you order

  • Confirm your boiler model against the fitment list above
  • Check the GC number on the appliance data badge where applicable
  • Identify how many entry points on the casing require a grommet
  • Inspect the existing grommet for the correct bore and profile before removal
