What it is
The Chaffoteaux 60041191-08 is a pilot tube used on Britony Flexiflue and Britony II T 21 HP gas boilers. It carries gas to the pilot burner assembly, where the flame provides the ignition source for the main burner. This version is specified for LPG applications.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The pilot flame fails to light or will not stay lit once the ignition source is removed.
- The pilot flame is weak, unstable or noticeably yellow rather than a steady blue.
- The flame lifts away from the pilot burner or burns erratically.
- The tube is visibly kinked, cracked, corroded or blocked.
- Repeated lockouts on start-up that trace back to the pilot assembly.
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model and its date of manufacture against the fit list above.
- Check whether your boiler is running on LPG or natural gas, as the correct pilot tube differs by fuel type.
- Compare the part number on the existing component with 60041191-08 before ordering.
- Inspect the pilot burner and injector at the same time, as faults often involve more than one component.
