What it is

The Chaffoteaux 60039147-10 is a pilot injector with a 0.26 mm orifice, used on natural gas Celt Star boilers. It meters gas to the pilot burner so the flame lights reliably and the boiler can prove ignition. This version is specified for appliances built between January 1988 and December 1994.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Pilot flame fails to light, or lights and then goes out
  • Pilot flame is weak, yellow, or lifts away from the burner
  • Repeated lockouts or ignition faults on the boiler
  • Visible debris, blockage or damage at the injector orifice
  • Pilot flame alters in size after the injector has been cleaned

Before you order

  • Confirm the boiler model and GC number against the fitment list
  • Check the appliance was manufactured between January 1988 and December 1994
  • Verify the existing injector is marked 0.26 mm
  • Confirm the boiler is running on natural gas
