What it is
The Chaffoteaux pilot tube is a natural gas pilot assembly component for Chaffoteaux gas boilers. It supplies gas to the pilot burner, allowing the pilot flame to ignite the main burner. This part is listed under Pilot Burners in the Gas Boiler Spares category.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Pilot flame fails to stay lit after ignition.
- No pilot flame or weak pilot flame at the burner.
- Sooting or discolouration around the pilot assembly.
- Boiler locks out repeatedly during ignition.
- Pilot flame appears yellow or unstable instead of a steady blue flame.
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model and GC number against the compatibility list.
- Check that the boiler is set up for natural gas.
- Inspect the existing pilot tube and connections for damage or blockage.
- Verify the part number 60035051 matches the part removed.
